Sadly, it's our last day of a week's vacation at Southern Cross Ranch. Kyra sits proudly on top of her favorite horse here, Ruby. We had an amazing vacation and rode with Britta, from Germany, most of the week. Britta arrived here last week and will be staying until October 9th. We loved riding with her because she took us trotting and cantering, and was so energetic and full of youthful conversation. So of course I had to snap a photo of Kyra with Britta before we left... The hole in her jeans occurred today when a branch speared her thigh. Kyra has a wound on her arm from being caugh
t by a tree branch a few days ago and I have a swollen/bruised shin from being slammed into a tree while trotting up a hill. Thanks Britta! The pain is well worth the pleasure!
