Our 5-day summer vacation began today when we arrived at Southern Cross Guest Ranch. We checked in and were assigned the Scarlet O'hara room. It is amazing! We had a wonderful 2-hour ride this afternoon and while sitting on our porch removing our filthy boots, we met a new friend, that we named "Stretch", in the photograph here. We had fun watching him do "push ups". We're truly looking forward to 5 days of horse riding!

Stretch
