I took so many amazing photographs in the pasture this evening that it's hard to choose which ones to include. I had no idea how physically exhausting this vacation would be. My bottom is sore from sitting in a saddle 4 hours per day. My right upper shin, near my knee, is swollen and bruised from being accidentally slammed into a partially fallen tree while trotting yesterday. We took a break and skipped the morning ride. Kyra got caught in a tree branch at the beginning of our ride this afternoon and scraped her left arm. She cried a minute but said she wanted to continue. There was a light rain in the beginning of our ride which pleasantly cooled the temperatures for a few minutes. Despite the pains, we're having fun.
