I'm glad we don't live in a tent...

Kyra is so creative... I worked from home today, which means Kyra didn't have to go to Day Care, but she did have to entertain herself after school at home while I continued working. Since she has gone through the tissues this week due to a cold, she decided to use an empty kleenex box to create a living room for her "puffles". Puffles are fuzz balls. She named them all and asked me for help with the last name. I suggested Greene since the kleenex box was primarily green and the daddy puffle was green; she liked it. The first photo is of the lid/roof of their home. The second photo is of the actual living room. You can't really see it, but on the wall of the kleenex box on the bottom of the picture is a flat screen TV. You may notice the remote control on the bottom, and the light switch on the wall. The "puffles" are the fuzzy balls sitting on the couch and in the chair.

We live adjacent to the tennis courts. At bedtime, while I was reading chapter 2 of Runt to her, she said, "I sure am glad we don't live in a tent." I wondered where this came from since it didn't seem related to the story. I asked for an explanation. She said that since we can hear people on the courts now, with windows and doors closed, just imagine how loud it would be if we lived in a tent!
