Neko

How sweet!!!! This evening, Kyra came into the kitchen and said she needed to know the year I was born. I wondered why and she said that she was creating a webkinz account for me on the internet. I wondered why, and she was quite secretive but said that I needed one. I thought it was odd and wondered what she was really up to. When I called her to dinner, she had a big smile on her face and brought me a kitten webkinz (stuffed toy). She asked me what I would name it and I immediately said "Neko", because it looks just like my favorite cat Neko that passed on when Kyra was in kindergarten. She said, "I KNEW IT". Then she proceeded to tell me that she was giving this kitten to me and that she had created an account for me on webkinz.com and had registered the kitten's name as Neko. And, it turns out that its birthday is in March, like mine. How sweet! I doubt I'll spend much time on webkinz.com, but will definitely take "Neko" with me on business trips.

On another positive note, team Dynomite won again today, 20 to 16. At the moment, Kyra's team is in 2nd place (out of 4 teams). Next Saturday will be the last game of the season, which will be followed by the playoff/championship games in early February. Go Team!!!
