For the last few weeks we've noticed a strong poopie odor in our backyard and water in the puddles of the holes that the dogs had dug. It finally got so bad that I looked on
kudzu, found a local septic tank company with high ratings, and called them for service.
Action Septic Pro said they could come out this afternoon. All of the ratings on kudzu were 5 out of 5 stars. As promised, they arrived mid-afternoon. They found the tank, excavated the dirt covering it, removed the lid, and called me back outside. Roots had grown into the tank and it was filled to the brim with solids. They suspect it had never been pumped before. They cut the roots and pumped it out. The tee-valve no longer existed. They installed a new one, made sure the system worked by having me flush a few times, and then recovered the tank. They recommend pumping once every 5 years for our small family. The dogs had been inside the house all afternoon. As soon as Action Septic Pro left, I let the dogs out into the back yard to go potty. I didn't realize poopie dirt was lying around. When Riley came back in the house, he was filthy and STUNK! I immediately grabbed him and took him into the bathroom for a bath. I spent a half-hour bathing him and still don't think I got it all, but at least he's mostly clean. Pew-eee!!!
