We finished painting Kyra's room, re-installing the outlet covers, moving furniture, removing junk, etc. last night. All that's left is putting up curtains, hanging her new 2010 horse calendar from Aunt Laura, buying chalk, and possibly purchasing a desk. Kyra enjoyed sleeping in her new room. The dogs are confused, but enjoyed cuddling with her this morning. 
She woke to find the elves watching Olivia. Of course the elves were in shock that the toad is still alive and were spying in amazement! Kyra spent the entire morning in her room; a rare occassion. I enjoyed listening to the music blaring from her iPod clock-radio, but missed seeing my girl.We went to Northlake Movie Tavern this morning to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Squeakquel. It was such a cute movie! We laughed hard! Afterwards, we went furniture shopping. We didn't buy anything, but looked for a desk for Kyra's new room. She found a computer desk that she liked at By Design. I like it too. We had a late lunch at Cracker Barrel and then I took her to her dad's family. They are going to Callaway Gardens for the evening. I hope they have fun!
So now here I sit, updating/posting blog entries, picking the scab off my right knee and feeling bad about forgetting to pack Elf Kendall to go with Kyra. Hope she forgives me...
