marker fun; 100 on science test

Kyra and Zoe have really been enjoying playing together after school on the days that I work from home, and after work/day care on a lot of other weekdays. As we were leaving tennis practice this afternoon, Kyra spotted Zoe playing in her yard and asked if she could go play while I made dinner. Sure! Later they came to our house sporting this look after grabbing Capri Sun Roaring Waters. And who said only toddlers and kids at swim meets have fun with markers?

Thank goodness Kyra made a 100 on her science test last week and brought home the proof today!  Early last week I knew she had a test and told her to bring her Science book home to study. She forgot to bring it home. She only had a study guide that was missing many answers and another graded paper with several wrong answers (uncorrected). She's lucky I'm a scientist and knew the answers. We studied for hours the night before the test and  I warned her that if she didn't make an A, should would lose iPod, TV and computer privileges for two weeks and would have to bring home her science book to study every night for two weeks, because she forgot to bring her book home to study with after several reminders from me. This isn't the first time she's forgotten. Glad I didn't have to enforce this threat!
