Sadly, someone left Kyra's bedroom door open, while not in attendance, which gave Riley the perfect opportunity to snag a shoe. I woke up this morning and looked out my bedroom window, as I normally do to check the weather visually. I noticed what looked like a shoe in the yard. OH NO!!! I went downstairs to let the dogs out and walked over to the suspected item. It was Bryn's shoe. OH NO!!! Thankfully, only the lace was destroyed. I can replace it with one of Kyra's extra shoe laces from pairs of which Riley destroyed one shoe, but not the other. I was so glad that he only ruined the lace and not the entire shoe! When the girls woke up, I told them about my find. Kyra said she warned Bryn to keep her shoes out of Riley's reach. Bryn said she HAD by leaving them in Kyra's room. Too bad that at least at one point, they had left Kyra's room door open while they were off doing something else. Oh well.... I could be worse...
