Well, as soon as Kyra heard that the Burroughs' bunny, Snuggles, had babies, she wanted to go see them. Since Keith is out of town this week, Susan suggested that we go out to dinner with her and Leah, after Leah's tennis match tonight, and then stop by their house to see the bunnies. They are too cute! I wish I had taken my camera. At first, Leah handed "Foreman" (the black bunny) to Kyra and "Thirteen" (the spotted bunny) to me. We sat on the couch with them. Kyra held Foreman to her chest. This is how I started out with Thirteen, but she wanted to climb up onto my neck and I wasn't too keen on that, so I settled her in my lap. After a while, we traded, and Thirteen climbed right up to Kyra's neck and snuggled there. It was so cute!!! I wish I had my camera. But since I didn't, I copied one of Susan's photos from her Facebook page to post here.The bunnies were totally unexpected. Susan had thought the mom, Snuggles, was a boy and had agreed to keep Licorice, the dad, in their outside habitat with Snuggles and Joey, when Colleen's family couldn't keep him any longer. They have had Snuggles and Joey for two years. A few weeks ago, Licorice started attacking Joey and Susan couldn't take it, so she made arrangement for Licorice to go to a new home. A week ago, they discovered the bunnies in the back yard. Foreman looks just like Licorice, and Thirteen looks just like Snuggles. They are giving these very cute and cuddly bunnies away, FREE.
