He chewed off her collar!

I work from home one day a week and because of meetings on most days this week, today was the day. Mid-morning, I was sitting in the chair reviewing a report on my laptop. Riley came bounding in the room and came up to me with something hanging out of his mouth. I quickly recognized it was Tasha's dog tag that was hanging out. I had him "drop it" and he deposited what was left of Tasha's collar! During the past few months he has been pulling her collar off of her head. I recently tightened her collar so he wouldn't be able to do that anymore. Well, I guess he was determined to have it and chewed it off of her! I can't believe she let him! Well, at least it made for interesting conversation with 4th graders when I took it with me when I had lunch with Kyra today.

The former owner of our house left behind a lot of flower pots by the shed. Riley loves them! He's frequently bringing them in the house. He looks so funny carrying around those large pots in his mouth. Here he is with the bottom portion of one.

Kyra invited Sophia to come over after school and spend the night at our house. Our original plan was to go to the State basketball championship game, but since Parkview lost yesterday we opted not to go. It would have been too depressing. They spent a lot of time out in the yard with the dogs. They also had a great time playing "Sing It" on the wii. Now if we could only find the remote control for the TV/Cable box... It's been missing for a week. I have a feeling that if I look hard enough in the yard that that's where I would find it.
