Laura visits, Riley destroys couch

I was so glad that Laura could come early! She arrived shortly after noon and after a quick lunch, we went down to the ING Georgia marathon/half-marathon race Expo at the Georgia Dome. After picking up our race numbers, timing chip, and race shirt, we went SHOPPING at the Expo. There were so many booths and lots of cool items for sale. Laura was so sweet to buy me a cool runner t-shirt for my birthday present. THANKS LAURA! We ran into one of Laura's old high school friends, Joey and his wife. He's completed 27 marathons; wow!

After a few hours of walking around the Expo we headed home. I fed all the animals and then we went to a local Italian restaurant. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed Laura's company! I had taken a chance and left the dogs inside the house while we went out to dinner. That has a huge mistake! When we got home, I took the sheets out of the dryer and started walking towards my bedroom (which explains why they are on the table). On the way, I glanced in the dining room and could not believe my eyes. The couch is normally located with the back against the wall. While we were gone, Riley pulled the couch out from the wall, chewed a hole in the arm and removed some of the stuffing! I was so MAD!!! Anyone want an adorable puppy before I kill him?
