Kyra's been with her dad since Wednesday and boy do I miss her! Terri called me this afternoon while I was talking to my boss so I let it go to voicemail. She asked if Kyra could spend the night with Colleen on Tuesday. They're going to be in Florida Wednesday through Friday and wanted to have Kyra over before school starts. I called Kyra and she said she would like to, so I coordinated plans between her dad and Terri. Terri will pick her up from day care tomorrow and her dad/stepmom will pack an overnight bag for her. Terri will then take her back to day care on their way out of town mid-day on Wednesday since I'll be at work. I was really looking forward to spending Tuesday night with her, but will gladly wait another day so she can have time with one of her two BFFs. Especially considering the circumstances that I won't go into now.
I arrived home from work around 7:30 p.m. and took the dogs for a jog, dropped them back off at home after 1.56 miles, and then continued my run.
