Yesterday, Kyra started her second project of the weekend. While at JoAnn's yesterday, we also purchased fleece material for Kyra to make herself a blanket. She selected a basketball pattern for one side and a chocolate brown solid piece for the underside. She laid them on the floor on top of each other, cut slits in each and tied the many fringe pieces together. She finished before lunch today.Kyra finished the apron for her teacher late last night after I had turned off the computer. I took a few photos this afternoon. I think she did a great job! I especially like how she embroidered Mrs. Walker, heart, 2009 on the waistband and then "Kyra" on the bottom corner of the apron. I hope Mrs. Walker likes it!
