This picture doesn't do the view we saw from our hotel room this morning justice. The sun was peeking through the clouds between the buildings and casting brilliant colors about.Our flight was delayed due to bad weather in Atlanta. While waiting in the airport we talked to others about marathons. The couple near us raved about the New York City marathon. Because our little girls have already decided that this is going to become an annual event, Lisa said to me that we should sign up for New York next year; sure that Ty would come along. The little girls (as well as the big girls) loved this Chicago trip, and want to come back next year, but I'm pretty sure that they would be happy with another location as long as we did it together.
Small world... The couple that sat next to Ty on the plane are buying a house on Lisa's street! We knew exactly which house they were talking about!
While in Chicago I received an email saying there would be a third Gwinnett Basketball League tryout that was mandatory for selection. We rushed home, Kyra changed clothes quickly, and off we went to tryouts. I hope she makes the team! I'm pretty sure she will based on the small number of girls there (11).
