I worked from home today and arranged for home repair service calls. Comcast came and fixed my alarm problem (the guy that switched us from AT&T to Comcast didn't do it right). ARS came and repaired the furnace and replaced the filter; the heat is on! And the joke of the day was when the Overhead Door guy was here. He came in to tell me that he could replace the one broken roller on the garage door for $95 or the entire set of 10 rollers for $160. As he said this, my stomach growled LOUDLY. He said he didn't mean to make me growl at him and hoped I don't bite... ha ha ha! I was embarrassed and appologized but he thought it was hilarious timing. We both got a good chuckle out of it as I promised to eat something while he worked. Shortly after Kyra arrived home from school, our most necessary home repairs (security, heat, door) had been completed. Someday I'll get around to the rest of the stuff that needs to be fixed...
