My friend Debi hosted a Ghouls Night Out Party tonight. There were a few people that I didn't know, one of which has an 8-year old daughter also named Kyra! We had dinner at Debi's house and then went to Stone Mountain for A Tour of Southern Ghosts. Professional storytellers dressed in 19th century attire told child-friendly stories of folktales, myths and legends. Some stories were better told than others, but we had fun cuddling close on this chilly evening, hanging out with the ghouls.

Report Card; Ghouls Night Out
Thankfully, Kyra made all As on her report card! I was worried that she'd have a B in Social Studies since she had a C at mid-term thanks to one bad test grade. But thankfully, she had lots of opportunities to bring up her average in the second half of the quarter. Way to go Kyra!
