orthopaedic appointment

I had an appointment with Dr. Levengood today regarding my left knee which caused me severe stabbing pain during the marathon. He suspects inflammation of the illiotibial band and possibly a meniscus tear. He gave me a cortisone shot and scheduled me for a MRI. I hope he's wrong about the tear!
