YAY! I was able to do all of the exercises without pain at my physical therapy appointment yesterday. I could still tell that I have weakness in my left leg, but there was no major pain. So after exercises and icing, my therapist told me to try an easy jog today of no more than a few miles. If it went well, I was free to progress on my own. If I had pain, to return for more therapy. So... I woke early this morning and took Riley out for an easy 2-mile jog/walk. We went slow, with walking up the hills, and all went well. Yippee!!! I'm going to be smart and build back up running gradually, alternating run/rest days with slow mileage and pace increases. But I'm so excited that I can start jogging again!

Kyra's spending tonight with her dad. On days that she's with him, I usually work late (so I can take off earlier on days she's with me). I had parked my car on the top floor of the parking deck and when I left the building, it was dark outside. I LOVE THE VIEW FROM THE PARKING DECK IN THE EVENING! The first photo is of Phillips Arena. The second photo is of the "envelope building" as Kyra calls it. The photos don't do the view justice, but it's gorgeous none-the-less.
