A few weeks ago Kyra started talking about the Magical Elves returning to our house. (See blogposts of December 2008 for our elf adventures from last year.) She said that she was going to write to Santa and ask that they come back to our house at Thanksgiving (since that's the earliest that they are allowed to come). Since Thanksgiving is approaching quickly, and Kyra needed a task this afternoon, I told her to write a Thank-You note to Nattie and then she should write her letter to Santa about the elves. She came downstairs to the basement as I was finishing my run on the treadmill, and showed me her letter to Santa. In case you can't read it, it says, "Dear Santa, I would like to get my elf. I would like Kendall but if she isn't available then I will accept another one. My mother would like to have her elf Edward. We would like to have them as soon as possible. Thank you so much. The Elf Lover, Kyra F."I hope Santa lets the elves return! We had so much fun with them last year!
