Happy birthday Tiger! Of course this birthdate is one we made up for her. We adopted Tiger on November 6, 2004, and were told that she was two years old. So I simply subtracted two years from her adoption date to give her a birthday (11/6/2002). Time has flown by...We adopted Tiger shortly after Neko passed on. Neko was my favorite cat that Joe found outside our appartment many many years ago. Neko was very loving to Joe and me, but afraid of other people. Kyra and I were both devasted when she passed, since this was Kyra's first pet that had died. Kyra was in kindergarten. We adopted Tiger because I thought Indy (our other cat) needed a friend. But Tiger tormented Indy which agravated me to no end. I was constantly separating the two. Sadly, Indy passed on about a year later. Tiger has mellowed over the years and now mostly hangs out in the laundry room, afraid of Riley. He just wants to play, but she doesn't look at it that way. At first I thought of it as "pay back" for the torture she put Indy through. But now I'm saddened that she rarely comes out to cuddle any more. Don't get me wrong, she does sometimes come out to cuddle, but runs to hide when Riley bounds into the room. She has her princess bed on top of the dryer and gets lots of love as I'm constantly doing laundry. Happy birthday Tigey!
