I thought today was the last of Riley's obedience training classes, but the trainer said it was #7 (of 8). Kyra's with her dad this weekend and I was a little nervous about how he would perform for me since she's been his handler for the last three weeks. Riley was the best in class at sitting, lying down and staying! But he was still a bit challenging at "walking nicely on the leash". He did good as long as there were no distractions, but he wanted to play with the other pups rather than stay focused on walking with me.
After the class, I took him home, changed clothes and went to Stone Mountain for a 5-mile run. It misted lightly off and on, but was a pleasant jog.
