Upside down; security preference

Kyra had gotten into the habit of retrieving the mail for us each day. She brought me the mail and asked if Katie had addressed the envelope to me. I said that she probably wrote "TO", but the rest looked like Aunt Laura's hand writing. Kyra proceeded to open the package, although it was addressed to me... Inside we found a note and photos. Kyra attempted to set the framed photo on the counter and we laughed hard realizing that Aunt Laura had put the photograph in the frame upside down! I truly appreciate the photo! I've been meaning to ask her how it turned out for weeks now. How sweet that she printed and framed it! Plus, she sent school portraits of Katie and Reid. So we couldn't resist putting them upside down against the framed photo... Laura appologized for not inserting the photo correctly, but I told her to please not... Kyra and I laughed for about a half-hour at this. Not at Laura, but because of her. Thanks for bringing more laughter into our lives!

Later, Kyra went into the back yard to play with the dogs and then brought back inside our old ADT security sign. She said that Riley obviously thinks highly of ADT (not)... So I couldn't resist placing the chewed ADT sign by our new Shield security sign and taking a photo. I need to send this photo to Danita!
