Fly Girl; RILEY!!!

First of all, Happy Birthday Laura! I hope you had a wonderful day! I tried to reach you on three different numbers but hope you got my messages.

Tonight was Kyra's last swim meet of the season since she's leaving for camp tomorrow. She really wanted to improve her time in the 25-yard butterfly and she did! Her previous best time was 18.08 seconds. She swam it tonight in 17.92 seconds. We were all proud of our "Fly Girl".

I felt sorry for the dogs because they were outside in the heat all day and for whatever reason, they don't drink the water that I leave for them. It was in the upper 90s this afternoon. Since Riley has been better lately I thought I would give them a chance and let them stay in the house tonight during the swim meet. But that was a stupid mistake! When I returned home the pups greeted me happily. When I walked through the living room I was angry! Riley had caused a tear in the sofa a while back. Tonight, he chewed the hole larger and pulled out a good bit of the foam/stuffing! I was so mad!!! I didn't know what to do. I picked up the stuffing and shoved it back in the hole and then went to the bathroom. When I came back, he had pulled the stuffing out again! I was tired, angry, and not sure what to do to prevent him from doing worse damage, so I grabbed some black duct tape and used it to tape down the hole. The couch is already ruined, so I might as well duct tape it...
