Amazing how many people we saw that we knew at the grocery store tonight! As we were walking from the car to the store, I noticed Andrew standing by a grocery cart and then realized his mom was talking to a man at the ATM outside Publix. Then Kyra immediately commented that it was Mr. Zuver at the ATM! She's been trying to connect with his daughter, Cassidy, for the past week to plan some time together while they are in town. He said that Cassidy was really hoping to see Kyra and that they'd call later on to arrange a time. Sounds like life is good for them in Michigan, but we certainly miss them. Next, Kyra yells hello down an aisle that we're passing by to a girl with her mom. The girl goes to Kyra's day care, but I don't know them. Then as we're nearing completion of our shopping we see Brenda and Katie. I think this is a record for seeing people we know at the grocery store.I had an upset tummy yesterday and stayed home from work that day. And sadly, now Kyra's going through it. I planned to work from home tomorrow so at least I won't have to take another day off of work to stay home with her. Hopefully she'll feel better soon since we've invited a friend to come over to play with her tomorrow.
